Asking a Teensy Weensy Favor
To all my 'bestest' friends (or anybody else who wants to join in):
If you stop by will you just send up a little prayer for me tonight?...I haven't been accomplishing as much as I wanted to this week with my hubby and oldest DS out of town (I'm just a little lonesome)...(this is not the request yet :-))
I had all these visions of being June Cleaver (or maybe Aunt Bea to be more accurate...) and the house going
'DING!'
when they got back.
Alas, it is not to be.
The babies are cutting molars...the 4 yo knows Daddy is gone and is testing the boundaries at every turn, and now I seem to have come down with a case of mastitis (pain, headache, fever, chills and all).
**Please pray that the littles will sleep well tonight so I can rest, and that I will be able to make up for lost time, after recovery, and BEFORE my hubby gets back...I know the house won't 'ding!' but I'd like it not to 'slurp and growl' either ;-).
I'm not very good at asking for things like this...I don't like to sound complaining, but I'm just fairly done-in right now...and my house has never looked worse or been more embarrassing to me than it is right now. Sigh
Thanks in Advance.

Okay, that does it. Tomorrow morning, some kids & I are going to show up at your house and HELP. And you aren't going to say no.
I'll call you in the a.m.
I'll be praying for you! May you have the Peace of Christ tonight as you sleep.
blessings,
Lauren
HI sweetie,
looks like you are very tired. Been there and know just how you feel. Remember we are not perfect, never have been, never will be. It's all grace! TV is all made up. There has never been a mom or aunt who kept a perfect house and had perfect children. At least not in the 24 hr days we live in. Please, Pleas, do not be so hard on yourself. You are a great mom. In fact I have never seen a better one! Close your eyes drink a cup of herbal tea and imagine God's arms wraped all around you. Your kids will never remember how perfect everything was. They will remember how loved they were and how safe they felt. They will never know the sacrifices you have made until they are grown and have children of their own. You might try frozen bannana's for the girls gums. It healped my girls. Love ya! Daylily
Hey there girl...I've had mastitis...it's horrible! I am thinking of you & praying for you today! I hope you feel better!
Blessings
Thanks for visiting me at my place!
I didn't come by till Friday night, and hope you are feeling better.
Oh, you and I must be a lot alike--when my honey and kid(s) are not home, I always have Big Plans. (they hardly ever work out, and when they do, they still don't look like they're *supposed* to--Aunt Bee I'm Not.
Praying for you tonight, for peaceful sleep and feeling better for you...

Somehow my grammar is not working--sorry. I'd re-write my comment, only I'm not sure I wouldn't make it worse.
I'm praying that you will feel better and sleep peacefully. And of course, that prayer extends to all your children!
I do the same thing -- HUGE plans, particularly about housework, when my husband is away. Alas, I find myself at the computer, or with a book, or distracted by the very things I'm trying to put away -- flipping through pictures, etc.
I will definitely be praying for you. We can set the goals, but the Lord prepares the steps. Don't put added pressure on yourself. From the comments of those that know you (unlike me...)it sounds like you are an awesome mom and wife with WAY too much to try and accomplish. God bless your friends who are coming to your rescue.
Honey, mastitis is one of the most horrible things I've ever experienced, and I think your family will understand your house. Hope you feel better soon.
Even though I know you're mastitis was a couple of weeks ago I still have to offer my sympathy, as a sufferer of this many, many times over I say very loundly and clearly, OUCH!!
