Yawn...
I've spent the last few days recuperating from the birthday weekend and a recent lack of sleep.
Yesterday, Hubby was home all morning. Usually I am able to get up when he does around 6:30 or 7 and make his coffee and send him to work with a hug and kiss.
Yesterday, I stumbled into the living room and felt very odd and couldn't open my left eye. I spotted the futon mattress we just removed from Rivergirl's room and dropped down right there. Hubby was on the computer and I have faint memories of him clicking the keys and children floating around me from time to time. When I awoke it was 10:30. I felt I could keep sleeping all day but I didn't.
I ended up sending the littles to stay at someone else's house for a while so I could pack a little and organize a lot. I also rewarded myself with 5-10 minutes naps at the end of each job. When the family came home they all thought I did a great job..lots of work done and supper ready and everything! Hooray!
Last night I don't even remember my head hitting the pillow, but hubby says when he came in he was talking to me.
"Don't you remember?"
No! Not a bit!...wait! I remember something...about hairstyles???....I didn't say anything I shouldn't did I? Hmmm...

Oh you. I am praying that the Lord will continue to strengthen you.
They say moving rates up their with divorce on the stress scale. I believe it. But we are women who are prepared. Our strength comes from the Lord. I haven't touched the fabric yet. Dilly and I are finishing her quilt for the show. But I sneak here when I can to catch up on all my bloggy news. Yours is always a highlight my friend. Bless You!
LOL, you just described my typical day. And where'd you get that photo of me?!
Well, I'm impressed with you. You're very industrious.
The photo topped off the whole post!
(And each time I read the title, I have to stifle a yawn myself!!)
Funny post. Really smart idea taking 5-10 mins naps at the end of a task...how did you manage to only nap for the 10 mins? I think my 10 mins would have ended up being 30.
Ohhh moving...icky!! We are all unpacked....well for the most part. We still wonder where a few things are, but I think if we've managed for 7 weeks without it we can manage a while longer...lol. Good for you for taking little breathers in between. A mama's work is never done!
