Elegant Dresses and Building Sized Brownies
Last night I dreamed about elegant dresses in very small sizes and a giant 1000 sq. ft. brownie.
As I was flying over the top of the brownie (in the mall) I was thinking "That seems like a lot of brownie for just one family...but I guess we've eaten that much before..."

...Care to analyze this for me? :-)

Either I'm very very skinny and need to eat to gain weight so I can wear the super figure hugging gown (which had a cape/train thingy by the way---does that mean anything?).

Or, I (ahem) could stand to drop a few pounds so I can fit into a smaller size (that's probably not it).

Or, I'm a crazed shopper who enjoys flying through malls and searching for formal wear I can't actually buy, and a very generous mom who bakes brownies by the mile, on the floor of public buildings. "Care for a brownie? The shoppers have squished it down with their feet but it still tastes the same."

What are your intelligent opinions? How does this dream reflect me and my personal struggles? Is there some deeper meaning, a shred of evidence that I am an exceptional person? Please leave me your thoughts and comments.

Anyone notice that my posting subject matter seems to be getting less and less noteworthy?

    hehehehe
I love your posts however they come.
    Hey...maybe the dream (or nightmare)
was on account of the pizza you had the night before. Or the enchilada, or lasagna, or hamburger?
It usually is the culprit of my wierd dreams.

Have a great day, I'm packing and schhlepping with ya!

That's very interesting, although I have no analysis.

I had a panic attack at the grocery store yesterday afternoon because I was afraid all the brownies I baked Saturday night would be gone by the time I got home. I guess brownies are the stuff dreams are made of...

My totally random thoughts (do I have any other kind?) on this entry:
    1. You must be pregnant. :)
    2. Osprey claims he's been busy saving the world. Maybe with your cape, you two are the Dynamic Duo.
    3. The enormous brownie represents the great state of Texas, which means you shouldn't move.
    4. The elegant dress represents your elegant friends in Texas, which means you shouldn't move.
    5. Your blog content isn't deteriorating, but if it were, it might be because you've spent too much time at Fish In My Hair.

Thanks for finding me on homeschoolblogger! I'm excited at all the new friends I'm meeting so quickly! Tell me, is this how we talk to each other, by commenting on each others' blogs? It's different from forums, where it is easy to just hit "reply." Hope to see you again and I'm going to "friend" you if that's OK!

I've taken classes in dream interpretation (it's a biblical model). I have a few questions about your dream. What color was the dress? What size was the dress? Were you wearing the dress? Was that all of the dream. You can email me.

I am laughing over this one. I just had a dream last night that we arrived at the beach house we share with my husband's entire family each summer and it was all broken down and messy with no real bedrooms or beds. The bedroom we were promised was nonexistent. And, oddly enough, each "room" was like an old shed complete with cobwebs, rusty tools, buckets of nuts, bolts and nails, and broken aquariums.

I usually start having these dreams in the spring and they don't go away until after our vacation in July. Can you tell I look forward to these family vacations?

Thanks for your comments on my blog. It's encouraging to know that someone other than Mrs. Underdog is reading it.

Funny! Have you been shopping for your elegant dress already?!
I had a dream last night that orders were coming in for foot longs and I couldn't fit them all on the grill...UGH! Must have been the muscle relaxers I took before bed. :)

    ~OUR LITTLE LOVE STORY~
Once upon a time, when things were not so complex...there was a handsome farm boy college boy from the great woods of the Northwest who came to the south on his white stallion White Honda Civic and won Buttercup's Sunydazy's heart.

He laid his heart at the foot of her dress and said "Our love can be like a storybook story. Will you be my bride?" She accepted and they began talking and dreaming of their perfect future together.

Since that time they have together endured fire swamps, ROUS's, the pit of despair and yes, they have even teetered on the edge of the cliff's of insanity (tee hee!)

Though their future was not quite what they expected they still believe in True Love. This blog is all about the rest of their lives where they are living 'Happily Ever After' in the land of La Kooka Rancha.

They love to say 'you keep using that word...I do not think it means what you think it means.' and' Hallo, my name is Inigo Montoya'...but their favorite phrase is...

    'As you wish'....

    My Dear Family

My Builder Man: A visionary with a heart of gold, who holds strong convictions and has an eye for beauty and order. He is always planning something new to build. A man who rises early, works very hard and likes strong coffee and plaid shirts.

Osprey: Our oldest son. 17 years old. A young man with an incredible talent and ear for music. He has strong convictions, and is not easily swayed (esp. by me when it comes to math!). He's good at babysitting and rocking little ones to sleep. He loves to read and his favorite sport is fencing...a game of strategy at high speeds. He's not into rising early right now :-) but dearly loves a good all-you-can-eat buffet!

RiverGirl: Our oldest daughter. 13 years old. She is budding into a beautiful young lady. She enjoys sewing, card making, scrapbooking and music. She is learning to cook and cares for her baby twin sisters like a pro. Being a mother hen type - she is more than willing to help me wake up any non-early risers in the house!

Little Guy: Our 5 year old son. Extremely bright, and extremely energetic. He loves to play with his little sisters and will keep them happy for long stretches of up to 30 minutes at a time...until he gets too carried away and yells and whoops like a wild man! He loves to eat oranges and string cheese...we should've invested in a string cheese company long ago!

Ladybug: This dear little 2 year old girl has a calmness in her personality that is very endearing! She was the larger of the twins and was consequently the first born. She started walking at 11 months old and toddles around smiling and trying to put on clothes--she wears them on her head!

Doodlebug: Also 2 years old, and a precious little bundle of all energy. This little girl arrived second because she was a bit smaller and also because she never stopped flipping around in the womb. (She was born breach). She still hasn't slowed down...she wants to get places fast! We spend a lot of time peeling her little person off of the dining room chairs because she likes to climb up and inspect the table top!
