Mother's Day Thanks

Happy Mother's Day!
I especially want to wish a Happy Mother's Day to my own dear mother's-in-law and my very own mother.
To my Mom-in-law, thank you for bringing the most wonderful man into this world! Thank you for all the years of self sacrifice and difficult challenges you faced to give him a good home. Thank you for seeing his potential when no one else was willing. Thank you for creating special memories for him...he still compares everything we do for our children to the special things he remembers. You are a hard working and tender hearted woman and I'm proud to be your daughter-in-law.
To Step mom-in-law: Thank you for being such a fun friend! I carry around special memories in my heart of all the fun times we shared at the lake and at your house. You have made a wonderful home for your children and I admire and respect you for that. You taught me a level of calmness that I hadn't experienced before. Thank you for being willing to be called Grandma at such a young age. I still tell people how awesome you are for that! It means so so much to our children!
To my own Mother, what a Godly woman you are!
Thank you for all the prayers, the long nights on your face before God, the many hours spent teaching us God's Word, the faithfulness and devotion to our Daddy, the sincerity of your everyday life, your self sacrifice in small ways everyday, your determination to teach us good manners. Thank you for being unflinching in the face of danger, and for never giving up on us. Thank you for being a true servant. Your life is a beautiful example of what God can do when someone allows Him to shine through them in every way.
I think of you every time I learn something new along this road called motherhood, and I wonder how long you've known that particular truth and been patiently waiting for me to get it.
Thank you for setting a really high standard for mothers everywhere!
Most of all, thank you for being such a dear friend to me!
I remember when I was just 6 years old...I was crying because God had not given me a sister to be my friend...you comforted me and told me that when I grew up you would be my friend.
You are my friend!
I love you more than words can express.
