I'm not missing just distracted...
Sunday smiles to you!
I am sorry I went AWOL.
I was sick for about a week and then Ladybug and Doodlebug were sick for a few days and then I spent several days getting ready for Osprey to come home on Spring Break!
We cleaned out the extra room for two of Osprey's friends and Rivergirl and Amanda (my several-times-per-week helper) made cheese cake.
He was able to ride with three friends from college and arrived home Friday evening. His friends spent the night here so they could get a fresh start on Saturday morning. They still had 10 hours to go..bless their hearts!
Friday night we had a fun time eating pizza and talking. They were also kind enough to play music for us! It really was one of the happier times of my life! The three visitors were all polite and charming and played with, held, sang to, and read to my littles. We heard a sweet version of Jesus Loves Me in piano, saxophone and guitar. They have officially earned a place in this mama's heart! :-)
I probably won't be posting very much this week since Osprey is here. I'll be spending a lot of time with him. But I'll try to tell all about our week eventually.
This afternoon we are scheduled to go get his senior portraits taken in a neighboring town. He's dreading it a little (too much fussing and ordering about) and I'm really looking forward to it.
have a sunny day!

Have a great week with your son!
Blessings
Hi, I found your blog last night and came back to read more today! I love it!
Hello! I just wanted to say hi and thank you for your encouraging words regarding my recent post. I really appreciate it - I felt like I was in a bit of a whirlwind of confusion and your advice definitely helped to ground me and bring me into reality. :) I've decided to just accept it as a blessing and keep my eyes and ears open for an opportunity to bless back!
It's a bit challenging, learning how to do this mama/homemaker thing! I love it and have always seen myself doing this, but I guess I'm still learning the ropes, per se. It's definitely encouraging to read blogs like yours!
Thanks again!
Hello. This post is likeable, and your blog is very interesting, congratulations :-). I will add in my blogroll =). If possible gives a last there on my blog, it is about the Impressora e Multifuncional, I hope you enjoy. The address is http://impressora-multifuncional.blogspot.com. A hug.
I love spring break and seeing my daughter. Have a wonderful week.
Happy Easter.
Happy Birthday Sunydazy!
thinking of you and praying that your day is filled with the very things that make you smile.
God Bless,
I found your blog through Trina, who has you on her blogroll, and I decided to check you out....
So very glad I did!
I read several of your more recent posts, and I have to say I'm impressed! I laughed, I cried, I was exhorted and encouraged! Those are the things that i look for in a favorite blog...
And my favorite post was the Quiver Full one. You handled a very divisive topic very elegantly and with great compassion, while not selling out or compromising your beliefs or position on the matter. I happen to believe just as you do, but can't ever articulate it as well as you did. Thank God for your stand and for your gentle spirit about the whole thing.
You can visit me at Homeschoolblogger/stillgrowing, and you can also find me at www.http://mysupplications.blogspot.com for new stuff.
I dearly hope you come visit me and read my story too!!

Oh, and by the way, after I tell you this you and I will be tight friends forever....
My oldest daughter saw your avatar picture and I told her how long you'd been married and how many children you had, and she said:
"She doesn't look like she's been married that long! She looks like she's 19!"
Yes, my 10 y/o daughter is sooooo sweet!!
*smile*
