What kind of yarn are you?
What kind of yarn are you?
You are Merino Wool. You are very easygoing and sweet. People like to keep you close because you are so softhearted. You love to be comfortable and warm from your head to your toes.

Hmmmm...I know a few people who would disagree with this result! Not dear hubby, of course! ;-)
Why do I always get misunderstood? And why am I such a confused person?
I should make a quiz of my own. It should be all about having great intentions but people assuming the worst about you because your mouth is not set just right....or something. :-) Anyway... I thought this was a fun quiz. Try it, if you like, and let me know what yarn you are!

Ok, now I know why we are friends. We are just alike. About 3 hours ago I just asked myself Why do people seem to always misunderand me ? and Why does my mind always feel like a tornado just ran through it? Then there is this one; why do my good intentions always seem to go wayword? Hmmm. haven't seen you in a while but I am so glad God has brought us back together again! See you soon.

The random blog button brought me here. You blog caught my eye because it is the very first one that uses the same template as mine! I was starting to think that I was the only one that liked this one. Also your Princess Bride blurb made me smile. That is my FAVORITE movie of all times. I will have to stop back and check you out later as it is quite late and I really should be heading to bed. But just wanted to say "Hi"

What I Did for My Summer Vacation
We're back after a week of rest in the hills.
I feel refreshed...ready to face a mountain of work and another year of homeschooling.
We didn't go far: just a little north of Texas in the Kiamichi Country of Oklahoma. The Oauchita National Forest is green and shady and smells of wonderful pine. Ahhh!
We stayed in a darling little RV/Cabin Park. I spent as much time as I could sitting in a rocker on the cabin front porch just looking at the mountains, sipping coffee and thinking. I love the feeling of having stepped back from my life. It's like I can see it from a distance, and nothing seems quite so big, no task quite as difficult, no problems so insurmountable.
Our budget for this trip was fairly small so we bought groceries and I did a lot of the cooking. Ever notice how pleasant it is to wash dishes when you're not at home? The cabin was small enough to be easy to keep tidy and keep the babies within easy reach and large enough to provide everyone with their own space (a bedroom for mommy and daddy!).
So, here we are, back home. Experiencing a little of the post vacation let down but refreshed.
I've started us back on our schooltime routines...so I'll probably be back at blogging more now.
See you 'round!
